For some of you, you may have started and stopped researching more times than you can count. We are open on Thursdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm for research. Our volunteers are available to guide you in the right direction to locate information or documents that you may be looking for. We have a warm and cozy library where you can research and network with others who are searching for family connections. Several months ago, we had someone come in from out of town. She was visiting her sister in the Ft. Payne area and had come down to research. She signed into our guest book and someone had asked her name. When she said her name, I said you are my cousin! She had a distinct name and I remembered she was one of my dna matches. She had some pictures and information about my Chumley line. So you never know what kind of connection you can make.
